لە بەرواری ٢٠ ی ٥ لە هۆڵی پ.د. عزەدین مستەفا ڕەسول سازدرا.
سەرەتا مامۆستا بەختەوەر باسی لە زمان و گرنگیی بارودۆخی ئێستای کەمئەندامان کرد. دواتر، پ. د. لین، لە زانکۆی ئەمەریکی، تیشکیخستەسەر زمان و یاساکانی تایبەت بە خاوەنپێداویستی تایبەت.دوواتر
پ.ی. د. زانیار کریم، مامۆستا لە بەشی زمانی ئینگلیزیی کۆلێجمان ، بە چەند چەمکێکی زمانەوانی و ئەدەبی لە کوردی و ئینگلیزیدا تایبەت بە کەمئەندامان باسکرد.
لە کۆتاییشدا ئامادەبووان سەرنج و پرسیارەکانیان ئاڕاستەی پێشکەشکارانی پانێڵەکە کرد و گفتوگۆیەکی زانستی وئەکادیمییان لەو بارەیەوە ئەنجامدا.

Under the supervision of the esteemed Dean of the College of Languages, Dr. Shakhawan Jalal Haji Faraj, an academic panel titled
“Abled-bodied and Disabled: Future Representation in Language and Literature”
was held on Monday, May 20, 2025, in the Hall of Dr. Azzaddin Mustafa Rasul.

The panel began with a presentation by Mr. Bakhtawar, who spoke about the significance of language and the current status of people with disabilities. Following that, Dr. Lynn from the American University gave a scholarly talk focusing on language and the laws specific to people with special needs.

Then, Dr. Zaniar Karim, a lecturer in the English Department of the College of Languages, discussed various linguistic and literary aspects concerning disability in both Kurdish and English contexts.

At the end of the panel, participants directed their comments and questions to the panelists, and an academic and scientific discussion took place around the topic.

رۆژی پێنجشەممە ڕێکەوتی( ١٥ /٥ /٢٠٢٥ ) بەڕێزان ( دۆنگ یانگ و گووا یانگ هۆنگ و خوو ژیوێ)، کە مامۆستان لە بەشی زمانی چینیی کۆلێجی زمان/ زانکۆی سەڵاحەددین ،سەردانی کۆلێجی زمانیان کرد لەزانکۆی سلێمانی و لە هۆڵی پ.د. عەزەدین مستەفا ڕەسول بە ئامادەبوونی مامۆستایان و خوێندکارانی بەشەکانی کۆلێج پانێڵێکیان بە ناونیشانی (زمان وەک پردێک، کەلتوور وەک پەیوەندییەک – گەشتێک بۆ جیهانی چینی ) پێشکەشکرد ، ئامانجی سەرەکیی پانێڵەکە باسی پڕۆگرامی ناساندن و پەرەپێدانی زمان و کەلتووری چینی بوو لە لای تاکی کورد و لەسیمینارەکەدا تیشکخرایەسەر ئەوەی، لەگەڵ ئەوەی کورد و چین لەڕووی جوگرافییەوە لەیەک دوورن ،بەڵام لەڕووی زمان و کەلتوورەوە هاوبەشی زۆر لەنێوانیاندا هەیە،هەروەها ئاماژە بە برەودان بە پەیوندیی نێوان هەردوو لا دراو و لەگەڵیدا ئەو سکۆلارشیپ و خولانە باسکران،کە لە لایەن کونسوڵخانەی چین و سەنتەری پەرەپێدانی زمانی جینی پێشکەش بە هاوڵاتیانی هەرێمی کوردستان دەکرێت. بە مەبەستی بڵاوکردنەوەی فەرهەنگ و زمانی چینی، شایەنی باسە بەڕێوەبردن و کاری وەرگێڕانی پانێڵەکە لە لایەن بەڕێز ( د. جوتیار عمر صالح) مامۆستا لە بەشی زمانی ئینگلیزیی کۆلێجمان ئەنجامدراوە.

On Thursday, May 15, 2025, College of Languages at University of Sulaimani hosted a special panel discussion featuring distinguished guests Dr. Dong Yang, Dr. Guo Yang Hong, and Dr. GuoYanhong DR. HuZhiwei, DR. DongYanjie professors from Department of Chinese Language at  College of Languages, Salahaddin University.

The event took place in  P.D. Azadin Mustafa Rasul Hall and was attended by faculty members and students from various departments within the college. The panel, titled “Language as a Bridge, Culture as a Connection: A Journey into the Chinese World”, aimed to introduce and promote the Chinese language and culture to a Kurdish audience.

During the panel, the speakers emphasized that although Kurdistan and China are geographically distant, there are notable similarities between the two cultures and languages. The panel also highlighted the ongoing efforts to strengthen academic and cultural ties between the two aides. This includes scholarship opportunities and language courses offered by the Chinese Consulate and Chinese Language Development Centers to the people of the Kurdistan Region.

The session was moderated and interpreted by Dr. Jotyar Omar Salih, a faculty member from  Department of English at College of Languages, whose contribution ensured the panel was accessible to all attendees.

The event marked an important step toward fostering mutual understanding and expanding educational collaboration between the Kurdistan Region and China.

تێکڕای بەشەئەکادیمییەکانی کۆلێجی زمان. بەڕێزیان بە وردیی ڕۆ چووە نێو بابەتە زانستییەکەی و بەنموونەی شیعریی شاعیرانی کلاسیکیی سەدەی ڕابوردوومان دووا و هاوکات لەگەڵ باسکردنی بابەتەکەی نموونەی هێلکاریی و خشتەی تیپ و بەهای تیپەکانی شێخ ئەحمەدی فەراهیدیی لە ڕێی ئامێری داتاشۆوە بەڕوونی خستە پێش جاوی ئامادەبووانی نێو کۆڕەکە.

On Tuesday, 26/11/2024, the college of Languages at Sulaimaniyah University organized a symposium with Mr. Fawzi, the son of the Kurdish classical poet of the last century, Ramzi Malamarf. The event, which was a scholarly symposium on Kurdish classical literature, was titled “Geometry or the Science of Numbers in Classical Kurdish Poetry.” It was primarily aimed at the faculty members of the college.

Mr. Fawzi delved into his subject in great detail, discussing poetic examples from the classical poets of the last century. He also took the time to answer questions from the audience.

The aim of the symposium was to enhance the academic and professional development of the teachers of the college and the audience.

In continuation of Sulaimani University/ College of Language’s ongoing activities, a literary and intellectual panel titled ‘Cultural Identity’ was conducted on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 12:30 in the Dr. Ezadin Mustafa Rasul Hall. The event was organized by the English Department faculty, in collaboration with teachers from Salahaddin and Charmo Universities, featured esteemed speakers including:

– Zhino Jabar Mohammed, assistant lecturer

– Dr. Zanyar Kareem Abdul

– Dr. Bukhari Abdullah Rasoul

– Yadgar Fayeq Saeed, assistant lecturer

– Shango Mohammed Hoshmand, assistant lecturer

The panel aimed to enhance teachers’ awareness and foster discussions on cultural identity.
